It is also home of the 47 acre Westin Resort and St. John Villas overlooking Great Cruz Bay, perfectly manicured and accented with brilliant, fragrant bougainvillea and hibiscus. The Villas share the same facilities as the Westin Resort guest rooms with amenities such as land and sea tour offerings, private beach and freshwater pool use, free shuttle to and from the beach and pool area, tennis, fitness center featuring The Westin Workout Powered by Reebok, full spa treatment offerings, beach side and full service restaurants and bars, 24 hour room service, automobile rentals, and everything you expect of a Westin Resort. The resort is perfect for the person who wants to do everything on their vacation or relax and do nothing at all but be lazy on a palm fringed beach or relax on a floating mat.

The villa available December 20 - 27, 2008 is a newly renovated 500 square foot studio which accommodates up to four comfortably with a king size Heavenly Bed and a double sleep sofa, full bathroom featuring Westin's Heavenly Bath with shower, apartment size kitchen with all amenities, washer/dryer, high speed internet access, cable television with in-room movies. There is also an outdoor private patio with two chairs. All rooms at the resort and villas are 100% non smoking. Each section of studio and one bedroom villa have a semi private pool within the section with chairs and barbecue grills.

Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM. Airport/hotel transfers are available for about $85 per person which also includes unlimited transfers to/from St. Thomas for the ultimate in shopping. This transfer will pick you up at the airport, take you to the Westin's ferry which goes directly to the Westin Resort's dock on St. John. The local airport is on St. Thomas. If the airport / hotel transfer option is NOT selected, you will need to arrange a taxi from the airport to Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook docks and take the public ferry to Cruz Bay, St. John. From Cruz Bay you would then need another taxi to the resort.
