Resort Description:
The resort is not new but kept up beautifully. The architecture is Caribbean with mature palms that create beautiful vistas at every angle. The pools and hot tubs are not crowded. There is no issue with finding a chair by the pool. The clientele during this week is quiet and comprised of North and South American families (about half-half) who spend their holidays together. The resort is a small gated community; we feel safe to let our kids roam freely to swim and have fun with new friends. There are organized activities for families and for kids only as well. You will be there on New Years Eve which is a great time to be there. Everyone gathers on the flat roof for a toast and to watch as the whole island explodes in fireworks which go on for hours. There will be a NewYears day mass at the cathedral across the beach in English and Papiamento , everyone is welcome; even if you don?t go you might enjoy the sound of the church bells. There is a beautiful old chapel (Alta Vista chapel) a short drive from the resort, it is built on a cliff overlooking the ocean- a nice place to watch the first sun- rise of a new year.
The Paseo Herenica mall is a five minute drive away and will have special cultural events and liquid fireworks. You should also be there for the beginning of Carnival during week 53. For Carneval there is a great show with elaborate costumes at Paseo Herenica, but you can also drive to the real Carnival in Oranjestad and meet the locals as they party. We took our kids and found it tame enough.
The resort also has a small airconditioned gym which overlooks the pool. The resort has a dayspa. There is a retaurant as well. We have given them permission to let our kids order food and charge it to the room. The service is friendly, the food is good and well priced.

Unit Description:
The units are renovated and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The units have a romantic feel with arched windows that look into palm trees. All units have balconies. If you want Carribean ambience, you will find it here. The units are clean and will receive a mid week cleaning. .The unit has one-bedroom sleeps 4 in the bedroom and 2 in the livingroom. There are two bedrooms. The is a kitchen and also a dishwasser. The unit is full eqiuped with airco. There are two t.v.'s one in the bedroom and they other in the livingroom. The resort has a beautifull vieuw. It also has a balcony.
Caribbean Palm Village offers tranquil gardens, two pools, a shuttle to the nearby
perfect beach and barbecues for those who enjoy cooking outside. The comfortable units
provide comfortable beds and views of the landscaped gardens. There are two restaurants,
tennis courts, and golfing is nearby as well.
When you need a break, celebrate in style at Caribbean Palm Village, Noord. Vacation lodging at timeshares such as Caribbean Palm Village provide a high-quality alternative to motel rooms.

Nearby Attractions:
Aruba is a wonderful place, our family calls it (Curacao and Bonaire as well) the ?happy island behind the wind?. Aruba is like one small town on a fairy- tale island. It has the most quirky and enchanting mix of culture (Dutch, Spanish, African and indigenous culture). Eagle beach is ranked in the top ten beaches of the world. This beach is so pretty that it does not feel real anymore. The downtown looks like candy- land and the Arubans love to celebrate. The sad part is that the island is getting increasingly commercialized.
The island is very safe.
There is some commercialism along Palm Beach, but there is plenty of real Aruba still. Drive up to the lighthouse and watch the waves crashing on the cliffs, take a hike in Arikok park, visit the weekly (Tuesday nights) cultural festival at the museum. This festival is put on by local clubs and organizations, you will meet the real Arubians, they will serve you their home cooked food, dance for and with you and send you off with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Aruba is not the place for those who want an extremely exciting action filled vacation, but it feels like home. From the time one gets dropped off at the little windswept airport, everything feels clean, strangely european and magical.
Aruba has ?eternal spring?, the weather never goes over thirty or under twenty-seven Celsius. This means you have to pack very little. We asked people about hurricanes, and no one could ever remember one hitting the island. The A,B,C?s (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao) are below the hurricane belt.
There is great snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing and parasailing. All of this is widely advertised and accessible.

Nearby Restaurants:
The restaurants in Aruba are great. Generally it is impossible to buy dinner for under $25 per plate, but it will always be good. One great place is Blossoms , in front of the Amsterdam Manor. Nice beach front dining you get there, enjoy the catch of the day with sand in your toes! We did spend $180 US on a birthday dinner for 2 adults and 2 children, but we had Russian plate service.
A block up the street from the resort is an italian/canadian bakery, a great place for fresh breakfast buns and afternoon treats!
There are quite a few restaurants that set up their tables on the beach, but even if you don?t have dinner there, you must still be there for the sunset, which is Aruban tradition- bring your own bottle of vine! There are also some nice cheap eateries downtown. In Oranjestad, once you pass the first row of stores away from the harbour which cater to cruise ship passengers, you can do some really fun eating and shopping in the streets further back.
