Winter Sports close by and less expensive then nearby Tahoe....

The Mountain Retreat Resort and Gold Rush Country provides you with a unique Winter experience....Yosemite National Park two hours close and the Stanislus River five minutes away...

Fly fishing is still possible....OK you laugh but I was so disappointed that I couldn't cast in Lake Tahoe streams in May because the season was not open....I wanted a year round river to fish....

The Bear Valley Ski area is 20 minutes up the road and the rates are less than $40 for some days....

Nordic Sking at the Bear Valley Trails is one of the best places in the country to enjoy a sport that aids your fitness....

The unit and resort are rated 'Gold Crown' or top of the line by visitors not owners....

There is a king size bedroom with another large bedroom and full size kitchen and living area...over 1,200 SF in all....
