Experience a vacation in the style of rural Texas at The Lodge in Runaway Bay. At the resort, you'll find two lighted tennis courts, an outdoor pool and hot tub, and a children's play area. An 18-hole golf course with a restaurant is within a mile. Beautiful Lake Bridgeport is on site and is well-stocked for fishing. Fort Worth is about 50 miles away, and Dallas is about 70 miles away. Each unit is air-conditioned, has a TV & a full kitchen with microwave. There are no phones located in any of the units. **PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.** There will be a US$250 charge for guests found with pets. NO SMOKING permitted inside units. If youhave a need for a handicap accessible unit you MUST CALL the resort in advance of arrival to request availability. Resort has 2 floors & no elevators. US$100 deposit is required at check-in payable by credit card. Office hours vary by day & season. Keys for late arrivals will be in a locked box next to office front door. Use 7-2-8 combination. 10 A.M.CHECK-OUT & OCCUPANCY STRICTLY ENFORCED. A car is recommended to enjoy the area as there are no resort sponsored activities. ONLY THE SUNDAY UNITS HAVE A FIREPLACE & A VIEW OF THE LAKE. THE RESORT WILL NOT UPGRADE YOU TO A SUNDAY CHECK-IN UNIT IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIRMED INTO THAT UNIT TYPE. No Boat rentals.

HOT TUB AVAILABLE OCTOBER THROUGH MARCH ONLY. THERE ARE NO BOAT OR JET SKI RENTALS IN THE AREA OF THE RESORT. **NO SMOKING IN UNITS** MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Pricing for a unit will range from $500.00 to $1500.00 depending on factors such as seasonal rates and unit size. Please email for availability, unit sizes and pricing.

All units are rented in weekly increments. If you are interested in a unit for a couple of days, you will have to rent it for the entire week

You must have a valid credit card, as most resorts do require one at check-in for a small, refundable security deposit.

Most resorts do not allow pets

We cannot guarantee preferences such as smoking/non-smoking room, specific view, floor level, etc. These are floating units and as such do not guarantee a room preference.

If you feel that you may need to cancel your trip for any reason, you should consider purchasing vacation insurance for an additional $100.00. There are certain exclusions to the cancellation policy in which you would not receive a refund.
