New Disney Vacation Club Resort in Hawaii

Written by:

Hawaii timeshares have long been one of the most popular destinations on the map due to the exquisite beauty of the islands and hospitality of local citizens. Hawaii is known for providing a relaxing vacation on the beach while watching the surf come in and maybe sipping on a tropical drink while lying in a hammock. In 2011 Hawaii will become known for being home to the newest Disney Vacation Club resort as the company is planning to open a new resort in Oahu, Hawaii called Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa. When people hear the brand name Disney most will immediately think of the famous theme parks located in the Florida and California and of course the most famous mouse in the world Mickey. People familiar with the timeshare and travel industries will know Disney is one of the most recognizable names in luxury timeshare accommodations however most of their resorts are located in Florida for easy access to Disney World, the new resort in Hawaii will be a great addition and provide guests with the familiarity of Disney and the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii. Aulani will give current members a chance to visit Hawaii and receive the accommodations they have become familiar with while staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort.

Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa is located in Ko Olina on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. This unique location can provide travelers with two completely different experiences, one day the traveler can be completely secluded from the world and the next they can experience everything Waikiki has to offer such as shopping and world famous restaurants. The resort will be located on 21 oceanfront acres of the prime Hawaiian real estate. The resort will be built in traditional Hawaiian style however Disney will put their own unique twist on the decoration and accommodations to make the property unique to their brand and deliver the experience travelers have grown accustom too when visiting a Disney property. The new resort will include 350 hotel rooms and 480 Disney Vacation Club Villas for purchase and rental.

Disney Vacation Club operates on a points based system, for those not familiar with points based timeshares this allows the owner to purchase points to use within the given network of resorts instead of purchasing a specific week at a specific resort. Using this system gives Disney owners’ greater flexibility when planning their vacation, as well as giving owners the chance to visit new locations like the Hawaii timeshare resort Disney plans to open in 2011. If you are not currently a member of this group and would like to become one please visit our Disney Vacation Club Resales section to purchase your membership at a fraction of the selling price from the resort.
