Timeshare Purchase - Finding the Perfect Timeshare
Written by: Traver
Since you have found our website, www.VacationTimeshareRentals.com, there is a possibility you are considering a timeshare purchase. Once you have made the decision to purchase a timeshare there are a few steps that you can follow to help find the right property for you and ensure the transaction goes smoothly.
Determine a Location
Vacation Timeshare Rentals has thousands of timeshare resales to choose from, for this reason it is good practice to narrow down the location for your resale search. I would first recommend trying to find cities that you would possibly be interested in, it is important to take into account what type of vacation experience your family would like to have. For example, if your family loves going to the beach on a consistent basis a good location might be Daytona Beach timeshares or Cabo San Lucas timeshares. Do not be discouraged if you are unable to find the perfect city, one of the sections in our site that lists resorts by experience type, such as beach resorts or ski resorts. Once you have narrowed down your list of locations you can then move to the next step, determining a unit size and dates of use.
Determine a Unit Size and Usage Dates
The size of timeshare that your family needs obviously depends on the size of your family. Most families of four or less will be comfortable in a one bedroom unit, unless they plan on spending a lot of time in the unit during their vacation. One bedroom timeshares normally have either a full or partial kitchen and sleep 2 to 4 people comfortably. The most popular size for a timeshare is a two bedroom unit, most these units will have a full kitchen and sleep 6 to 8 people comfortably. Finding the right usage dates for your family can be a bit more difficult. If you vacation during the same time each year look for a fixed week timeshare, this means that you will use the timeshare during the same week each year. Since most timeshare resorts use a weekly calendar instead of a daily calendar feel free to use our timeshare calendar to determine the correct dates for your family. Families who travel at different times during the year might be interested in a floating week timeshare, meaning the unit is available for use during the entire year. However, having a floating week timeshare does not mean that you will always be able to reserve the exact dates you need, remember other people will have access to the same timeshare unit and if multiple users request the same time period the resort will allow access to the first person to make the request. When selecting a usage a period it is important to take into account any activities you and your family are involved with on a regular basis, for example school, baseball, arts, etc. Carefully selecting the usage dates of your timeshare will avoid conflict with your families’ interests and cut down stress while planning your vacation.
Stay tuned, in our next post we will discuss how to search Vacation Timeshare Rentals for the perfect timeshare and what to do when you find this timeshare.
