Located in Daytona Beach Shores, Sandy Shores Condominiums offers a beachfront vacation in one of America's favorite holiday spots. Relax by the resort's heated outdoor pool (only heated in the winter) or play tennis or golf in the area. During the summer, you can enjoy sports, such as dog racing, nearby. Local attractions include the Daytona International Speedway and Tomoka State Park. A little farther away, enjoy Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Kennedy Space Center. ** Note ** This resort was damaged by hurricanes in the fall of 2004. As of 9/27/04, the Sandy Shores Condominiums remain closed until further notice. Before renting or buying at this resort, please ask the owner to provide information on the current status of the damage, and confirm with the resort staff. Daytona Beach offers plenty of adventure for any traveler, like the International Speedway and a track for dog racing. The Kennedy Space Center is very close where you can experience a shuttle launch or explore a moon rocket. There is shopping and more along the Main Street Pier or take a charming look down Beach Street, Daytona's original commercial district. Daytona is close enough to Orlando so plan to visit Walt Disney World or Universal Studios for the day. You will find several major water parks and Sea World nearby as well as both upscale and outlet shopping opportunities. At the Sandy Shoes Condominiums, you will be pleased with the beachfront suites and all the comforts of home. Families will love the outdoor pool and just steps away, the beach is perfect for body surfing and other water sports.
