A charming collection of townhouse-style units overlooking South Seas Plantation's nine-hole golf course, Pine Island Sound, and the Gulf of Mexico, The Cottages at South Seas Resort is located amid tall trees and designed with privacy in mind. The resort has its own yacht harbor, boat ramp, and marina. In addition to boat and bicycle rentals, cars are also available for rent. Other resort amenities include a sailing school, a tennis center, three outdoor pools, a picnic area, a snack bar, and a gift shop. ** Note ** This resort was damaged by hurricanes in the fall of 2004. The resort will not likely be open again until February 2005. Before renting or buying at this resort, please ask the owner to provide information on the current status of the damage, and confirm with the resort staff.
