First off, it's a GAY resort... if you deal with RCI, their listing is very clear. So be prepared. Secondly, it's new and it's beautiful. The setting overlooking the lake is fantastic and the amenities are first class. Third, I am impressed with the new management... they seem intent on making your stay exceptional. Fourth, I am disappointed that the project is stuck on the first phase. The full build out with several buildings, lounge, and big pool now seems to have gone away, and that is a big disappointment. But the bottom line is that it's a great get away and we always have a good time!

NOT AS BILLED !!! I wish i had seen this site before. the reviewer who gate this 5 stars obviously works for them, 99% of that they say isn't there. it is still under construction , majorly The gardens resort in Orlando is currently nothing more than a construction site, covered in weeds and grass its been untouched in so long. the 1st building is there but that's all no pool, no fitness center, restaurants and its in the shadyest part of town I have ever seen, The gardens orlando has a long way to go and a lot of work needed. I wish i could post actual pictures here of what you see when you look out the window. When asked about the lack of amenities I was told " they wil start construction soon" well that dosnt help me now does it.

This is the second year that I have gone to the Gardens. It is what it is! Fabulous accomodations in Phase 1 of a planned resort. With these tough economic times and home and timeshare sales on the downswing, this organization has done the best they can do with the one building that is up. They have a customer service that is unparralled, YES, there are no amenities and they have a lot of work to finish the projec. But I must say that taking all of that into consideration, and that we are in fact minutes away from Disney and a stroll away from one of the best Gay clubs in orlando, it isn't bad at all. I enjoy the craziness of the Parliament House and the fact that I can walk back to my top of the line accomodations. Do i want the rest sure, but good things come in good time. I wouldn't let those detail ruin my vacation. I had a great time and will go back next GAY DAYS, complete or not.

I stayed here for three days and left. This place is terrible, no amenities and the stench from the cesspool rock lake is terrible. I had male hustlers soliciting me every time I came and went to my car and there were drug dealers knocking on my door nightly. My wife demanded that we leave so I did. I drove 30 miles to Disney World and got a suite at half the price we paid at this timeshare.

This is NOT a resort, it is a nice building on a lake that you can NOT swim in. There are NO outdoor amenities, such as swimming pool or tennis courts. The parking lot is located next to a place where prostitutes hangout and everytime you go to your car to drive 20 miles through heavy traffic to any of the attractions you are approached by male hustlers, panhandlers or prostitutes. This is definately NOT something you would ever find at or near a HILTON! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone but people who take the short bus!

What a wonderful locale. The gardens are truly beautiful- we had my sisters wedding on the premise! The staff were helpful and friendly. The units were spacious, and the parking was ample. No better view of Beautiful Rock Lake- would highly recommend- the pool is just a short walk away at a local club where I swam with some of the most gorgeous ladies in Orlando. I swear they must have been Mermaids. THIS IS A SIX STAR RESORT.

My wife and I, who are straight, stayed at the Gardens, although it caters to the LGBT lifestyle (but welcomes everyone). We were there for four nights in March, 2011, not 2010. The condo itself is beautiful: spacious and well appointed, although fewer cooking utensils than we normally find in condos. Nice features include a large, flat-screen TV, two bathrooms, super-hot water for showers, attractive granite counter-top surfaces throughout, quiet setting (never heard any neighbors), and a very courteous staff. Internet WiFi is available through a cable, and we were able to access someone’s—we don’t know whose—unsecured wireless WiFi. One negative is the somewhat seedy neighborhood, which requires the staff to maintain heightened security and cautionary notes not to walk outside at night. Never was a problem for us, however. And the location may have been one reason the condo was less expensive than it might have been otherwise (location, location, location).
