We stayed in a 2 bdrm condo in Feb 2005. The condo was huge, 2 king beds and 2 sleeper sofas. The jacuzzi tub was also the biggest I've ever seen. 2 good sized bathrooms. We loved it, the full kitchen made meals so easy, and we saved alot of money rather than eating out. Also a large dining table, room for the whole family. The staff were very helpful. We got stuck in the snow coming up the mountain and they pulled us out- saved the day! The only con was there was a little mouse we would see running around, we called the desk and they set traps for us. It made me a little on edge. But with all that snow outside who can blame the little guy for sneaking his way in. The deco was a little 80's but who cares. There was a big wood burning fireplace that mad it very cozy. Sugar mtn ski resort is a hop & skip away, and they have a shuttle to take you there. Which was very handy considering the snowfall we got that week. I would love to go back this year.

My husband and I spent a week at this resort as a timeshare swap. It was incredibly roomy, 2 king size beds, 2 sleeper sofas. While we were there they actually changed out the living and dining room furniture in all the units. Very nice. The staff were great, friendly, helpful etc. The jacuzzi tub was the biggest I've seen and ran CLEAR water so they must have gotten that fixed. Since it is located at the very top of Sugar mountain our views were incredible. The buildings are old but seem maintained well enough. My only con is no pets.

Exchange through II promised handicapped accessible, but on arrival found the unit was not accessible. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and for nominal fee upgraded from one bedroom unit to two with first floor access to bedroom and bath. Units are defintely dated (added to the rustic feel), but clean and very comfortable. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

I stayed at the Highlands several times and love it. I've been there for Spring break, in late December and in the fall.Their buildings "up on the hill" are great. They are roomy with great views. They have updated the furniture and carpet in almost every unit. The bedrooms are large and the Jacuzzi is supersized. The staff is wonderful. When there is a problem/concern, they work hard to fix it ASAP. The unit I was in had problems with WiFi. They worked to fix it immediately. I love this place during all seasons.
