treasure Island Beach club is a wonderful place for families and friends. I have been going to this resort now for 24 yeas. The staff are helpful and available. The pool and deckside has recently been upgraded, as has the maintenance on all rooms - new furniture, new poolside chairs and tables etc.. new hot tub. The beach is to walk at leisure -as favourite past time is to watch the sunset on the clean white sand. There is now internet (hotspots) in each room and around the pool. I have raised my children there and will continue to visit. I exchange through RCI to go elsewhere each year in addition to my vacation time at TIBC - but always find that returning to the beach club is like coming home.

I would not recommend staying at this resort. You can hear virtually everything - people walking in the unit overhead, people talking, moving of furniture. I also heard lots of street noise. We had a first floor with no view of the gulf or of the pool. Lots of "chair hogs" at the pool who reserve a lounge chair early in the morning but you never see anyone using the chair. It is a short walk to the beach which was never crowded. We especially enjoyed the walking path that runs along the back of the hotels. Our two bedroom unit had only one bathroom and only one television. Not good for a unit that is supposed to accomodate six people. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. The living room furniture is not very comfortable either. This timeshare could use some updating of its fixtures and furnishings. The partial kitchen is small - a four burner stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator with enough dishes, etc. for six. I did not use the stove at all as it looked like it was from the 1960's. The tub was difficult to get in and out of - it contained a tiled step which was slippery at times. The water did not maintain a constant temperature while showering. The staff is extremely friendly but the office closes promptly at five o'clock so if you want to borrow a board game or a book, do so early. The staff provided good recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. We love this area but will definitely try to find a different place to stay for our next visit.

I have been coming to this resort for years and love it.I need to address some comments here that are simply not true. 1. You CANNOT "stay up all night and party 24/7" The resort has rules that are enforced. No late night parties are allowed. 2. Parking is across but there are 8 loading/unloading spaces in front and the staff parks in the lot across the street. There is one H/C spot that is marked but H/C guests are told they are welcome to use any of the other loading spaces as needed during their stay. 3. We do now have FREE wireless available. 4. There is AMPLE chairs and room around the pool. Note the photo. These chairs are never all occupied. My stays here always been very quiet & enjoyable. The staff is very accomodating and helpful. I highly recommend this resort.

I actually stayed in June/July 2011, but it did not give me the option to go past 2010. We booked a one bedroom unit. Upon entering our room we were dismayed at its tiny size and outdated 1970's decor. No alarm clock or TV in the bedroom, literally just a bed. One bathroom which is outdated and ugly. and a partial kitchen with no oven. We felt like we were staying in a cheap hotel room. Once we opened the couch bed we had no living room space. Unit was very clean though and pool area nice and very well kept. Hot tub is very small, though, and it is a 1/2 mile walk to get to the ocean because the beach is so wide there. No activities of any kind at this resort which was disappointing, as we have children.. From the information I gathered around the pool, there are mini units even smaller than ours with a small half refrigerator. Thank goodness we did not get this. I also agree with the above review that you could hear everything in the unit above, and also, since it is so close to the street(with across the street parking) you could hear traffic. I would not recommend this resort to anyone-I do not think it is RCI quality, as we have traded with them for years and never had a place so disappointing.
