At first glance this resort is amazing. Coming in they told us that there were tennis courts, a pool, jacuzies in the rooms, and a nice atmosphere.Getting there was a major hassle and took us about an hour and a half from the airport. If you've never been to Peru before going at night is extremely dangerous for that long of a time. The first thing you notice is the massive ammount of flys and mosqitos. If your staying here during the summer time prepare to get bitten all over your body. When we were trying to eat lunch the mosquitos were eating us alive. We complained and he gave us some repelent. We later saw that he had charged us 3 soles ( roughly 1 dollar) for the tiny packets that didn't even work. They say they will give you complimentary breakfast but what they don't tell you is that it's only for the first night. If you want to keep eating breakfast they charge you 15 dollars per person for eggs and bread. The tennis courts are probably one of the worst kept courts Ive ever seen. Same goes for the gym and pool. I mean come on isn't this supposed to be a 5 star resort? The rooms are shaby , have small TV's, and don't have air conditioning or a ceiling fan. They have to bring you a little fan that can only cool one room. About half the times we tried to showers the hot water wouldn't work. We would have to wait 10 -20 minutes to finally take a hot shower. The only good things I can say about the resort is the majority of the staff was very freindly and helpful and the view to the mountains was nice. Overall this was a pretty terrible place for what your paying for.
