The peninsula of Cap-Bon is an area rich in arboriculture: wine, olive trees and citrus fruits. Hammamet, which used to be a small fishing village, attracts a host of tourists each year. The marvellous gardens and luxury hotels are scattered among the orange and olive trees and bougainvillea. Whilst in Hammamet, discover the Medina and the 16th century fort, explore a variety of museums and the archeological site of Puppt. Nearby is Nabeul, the centre of art and crafts.
